5 Months

Lachlan has been five months old for almost a week now.  So of course, I had to do a comparison picture.

And then I realized I hadn't been posting any of the comparison pictures here, so here's the whole slew of them.  They all go Everett, Callum, Lachlan from left to right.

Sept 7: Three boys swinging

Sept 12: Someone was not content to sit around at BWW so ended up using some celery as a teether.

Week 36

Aug 30: We went to a Bubble Festival at the children's museum and it was great!  Besides everything bubbles, you could build a paper rocket and launch it, paper airplanes and shoot them, and go to the museum.

Aug 30: While at the bubble festival, Everett tried out his first time climbing a rock wall.  He did pretty good but got a little scared when it was time to belay down.  We will have to practice.  :)

Aug 31: We went to Ashland and had Lachlan's baby blessing

Sept 1: Boys reading bedtime stories

Sept 2: After school playtime

Sept 3: Bathtime

Sept 4: Actually not very helpful, but it kept him happy so...

Sept 5: Now that Everett's at school all day, it's just me and these guys

First Day of Kindergarten

Although Everett went to preschool last year and was gone all day, Kindergarten is still way different.  I bring him down the street in the morning, he climbs on a giant (seriously, why are they SO big??) yellow bus, and disappears until 2:30ish.
He's having a good time though.  He said it's even more fun than preschool and he made friends.  And that's just on day 1.  I'm so proud of the little guy.  Those kind of situations make me extremely anxious, but he handled everything with grace and excitement.  I am so happy for him that he's enjoying it.

Notice how dark and chilly it is in the beginning of September?  He has to catch the bus at 7:11 am!

 

Week 35

Suuuuper late but it's been insane here.  Here goes.

 Brian and the big boys went sailing starting on Friday, so I have two pictures per day for the weekend.  :)

Aug 23: Boys sailing

Aug 23: Boy shopping.  He wouldn't be held or worn, but apparently lying on his wrap and playing with the cart was ok.

Aug 24: Boys on Stockton Island

Aug 25: Bowties are cool.

Aug 26: Everett loves his baby.

Aug 26: We went on a nice little afternoon walk.  Lachlan tried out his new big baby chariot seat.  He likes.

Aug 27: Everett and I had some fun talking to Olivia over the baby monitor.

Aug 28: It was beautiful outside and L was in a particularly good mood so we had a little photo shoot.

Aug 29: Then the rain came, so we went to the children's museum.  So fun for babies.
