Sitting with his "Daddy Pat" while we were up in the northwoods looking at houses. My infamous laptop steals the scene...that and Ever's very messy face....can you tell he's enjoying his food now?

Ev also enjoyed visiting with Doby:

A bouncer chair is meant to hold a baby like this (well, not really because he's now huuuge, but you get the point):

And his super great grandpa (great-great-grandpa):

The other night, we left the windows open because it was hot. Well, overnight it got much cooler. Ev woke up very very cold and Brian felt bad for him, so after I left him in the bed in the morning, I happened upon this scene:

Not like this:

Just because we shelled out a bit of green for a jumperoo doesn't mean our kid plays with fancy toys. No sirree, an empty water bottle is the ideal chewing and rolling toy. (That and your cool new Purdue basketball from daddy's professor.)

"So. Thirsty. So. Close. Not. Going. To. Make....iiiit..."

And in my attempt to be cute last night while Everett was not at all interested in going to bed, I thought I'd take a 5 month picture with his blocks. I had them all lined up and he just would NOT look at the camera. Finally, we ended up with this shot:

(Somehow, we have enough E's, but no R....)
