Lachlan's 6 Month Check Up

One of the most stressful appointments ever because he wasn't feeling so great, but what are you going to do?  Mr. L started a fever Friday night that didn't seem to fully go away until Monday, leaving me wondering what was wrong with him until a rash appeared that evening at bedtime.  Well hello there, roseola.
Poor little guy also had to get THREE shots this time since he just hits the threshold for flu shots and I hate the flu so everrrrrryone gets a shot in this house.  Well, except the boys.  They get the nasal mist thing.
Timing works out pretty well though, because now we go back in a month for his second flu shot and he'll start his Hep B then too.
He is still a complete string bean, weighing in at 15 lbs, 15 oz, (about 20th %ile) and 27.56" (85th %ile).   At 6 months, Callum was 19 lbs and Everett was 18 lb 8 oz, so Lachie seems super super tiny to me.  Ev was also 28" long and I apparently didn't record how long Callum was...

Week 41

Oct 4: Brian chilling with his small creatures

Oct 5: We bought a membership to the aquarium.  It was a good decision.

Oct 6: Someone had trouble napping and going to bed this week.

Oct 7: We are starting to taste big people food!

Oct 8: I made these for two little girlies we know and the boys modeled them for me.

Oct 8: National Walk to School Day.  My lower body killed me for the next three days.  His school is at the bottom of the hill.  We live about halfway up.  Around 300 feet of elevation change.  With a stroller.

Oct 8: Callum started a preschool class at the aquarium once/week.  He LOVES it!

Oct 9: New profile picture!  He is so darn smoochable.

Oct 10: Checking out pretty fish at the aquarium (told you it was a good idea.  We were there three times last week.)

Week 40

40 weeks!  Wow!

Sept 27: Flyyyyying baaaaaby!

Sept 29: I cannot NOT laugh at this.

Sept 30: Oh these boys.  They are my world.

Oct 1: Pre-8AM bath time

Oct 2: Look at how long this baby is!!

Oct 2 again: we're still working on sitting

Oct 3: Poor kid gets beat up all the time.  This time, I was nursing him and holding my phone and he yanked the cord and it fell on his eyebrow.

Weeks 38 & 39

I finally actually missed a full week.  Don't worry though.  I have pictures.

Sept 13: work in progress view of Callum's hat.  It's a bit too big but I always prefer too big to too small.

Sept 14: Heeeee is the champion, my friennnnnnd

Sept 15: There was a bear in our yard.

Sept 16: I finally gave in to fall and had a PSL

Sept 26: We had an awesome heatwave last week and the boys were raking in short sleeves and shorts.  Fall came back this week and our highs are in the 50s instead of the 70s/80s.  brrr.

5 Months

Lachlan has been five months old for almost a week now.  So of course, I had to do a comparison picture.
