Michigan Trip

Phew!  We got back late last night from a three day weekend in lower Michigan, attending cousin Jola's wedding.  We left around 8pm on Thursday night and drove through the night (listening to SuperFreakonomics on audiobook), arriving in Lake Orion around 9:30 AM.  It actually wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated but I am quite used to being sleep deprived anyway.  Brian got cranky.  It was awesome to see family for a happy occasion and it's always good for the boys to see Auntie Christy again.

The wedding was on a farm started by the groom's family and it was a fantastic setting.  The farm is the setting for a day camp during the summer so they had all kinds of animals and fun climbing structures and toys for kids.  Everett was in heaven.  Especially when he got to go visit the pigs, goats, cows, and kittens.

We went to the Friday evening dinner at the farm and Callum fell asleep.  So Brian put him in a wagon so we wouldn't be stepped on:
 We also did some babywearing:
And on the way home, stopped to stick our feet in the lake.

Callum is just about the same age here that Everett was when we went to Myrtle Beach.  Everett hated the waves/cold water.  Callum was fascinated.
